What does EduMaster actually do? tap to open

The short version: it is the school's records in one place, so that a report card is printed from the marks a teacher entered rather than copied by hand.

Report cards

Teachers enter marks for their own subjects. The card adds them up, works out positions and grades from your own grading scale, and prints. Several formats are built in, including nursery bulletins, and cards can be printed for a whole class at once.

Marks and terms

Three terms a year, with mid-term sheets inside them. Marks entry opens and closes on the dates you set, so a term does not have to be opened by hand, and a sheet cannot be changed after it is locked without leaving a record of who unlocked it.

Attendance

A daily register for pupils, taken by the class teacher, and a staff register if you want one. Term totals feed straight onto the report card.

School fees

Fee structures per class, charges, payments, receipts with a code a parent can check, arrears lists, and reminders. Money already received is never quietly changed — a reversal is a request somebody approves.

Parents and pupils

Parents sign in with their telephone number and see their own children: marks, attendance, fees and report cards. Pupils get their own login for papers set by their teachers.

Who sees what

  • Head teacher — the whole school, and decides what everybody else may do.
  • Teacher — only their own classes and subjects.
  • Parent — only their own children.
  • Pupil — only themselves.

What you need to run it

A phone or a computer with internet. Every screen works on a telephone, which matters because most parents and many teachers have no computer. Nothing is installed.

Would you rather talk to somebody first?

That is completely fine — ring or write and ask anything at all.
